bio – Pierre Pradier

Pierre Pradier is a composer and guitarist. After pursuing scientific studies at Paris Descartes University, he dedicated himself to music at the Paris Conservatory, where he studied classical guitar, generative improvisation, and composition.

His musical identity—drawing inspiration from contemporary music, free jazz, rock, zinli, and experimental genres—finds expression across musical creation, live performance, theater, and video, as he seeks to integrate the instrument into a wide variety of styles and contexts.

In 2023, he took part in the launch concert for the Ensemble(s) Festival and the inauguration of the Philharmonie des Enfants alongside Caroline Delume. In 2024, he founded the electric guitar ensemble AKæR with Vincent Desilles and Omar Nicho. In 2025, he established the label Nef-S with a group of musicians and visual artists, aiming to promote musical creation. He is a member of the experimental jazz group Frantx, with whom he performs regularly; their debut album was released in May 2026 on the Carton label.
